Oh, dear God, I do love this pope. Now I honestly feel I can sing 'God bless our Pope, the great, the good' without irony.
Do you understand what that really means? I feel I am a catholic again.

He defends the Truth and loves the Bride of Christ. What Catholic could not love him dearly.
I agree with you all. I've had great admiration for Pope Benedict XVI from the very beginning. Read his many books written as Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, listen to what he says. He has a great mind, and loves the Church. We are lucky to have a Pope like Benedict XVI
Yep Just got to love him.
Well, I suppose we should love all our popes, given the Holy Spirit was instrumental in their choice.
I guess for me I will always have a special place for Pius XII and John-Paul II.
I'm keeping an open mind of Benedict!
