Most mothers who read to their children or homeschool can probably handle this without much problem. Reason being that most of the time the child is holding the book towards themselves and the mother is sitting across the table from them and reading upside down. I used to read to my children when they were on my lap, but now that my son is almost 50 pounds, it doesn't happen that way as often ;}
